Second US drone strike kills 3 in Pakistan

MIRANSHA – A second US missile attack in Pakistan's lawless tribal district of North Waziristan on Sunday killed at least three militants, local officials said.

The US drone fired two missiles in Datta Khel, the same town where an earlier missile strike Sunday had killed four militants, officials said.

Datta Khel is some 40 kilometers (25 miles) west of North Waziristan's main town of Miranshah and is frequently a location for the strikes.

"Three militants have been killed in the second attack," a security official in Miranshah told AFP.

Another security official said the militants were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by the US drone.
